FAQs

1. What fragrance formats can I find at HEDEOMA BENTON?

Our collection includes hanging car fragrances, reed diffusers, and liquid wick jar diffusers. Each format offers a different way to introduce fragrance into your surroundings—from everyday journeys to your favorite corners at home.

2. What is the difference between a reed diffuser and a wick jar diffuser?

A reed diffuser uses sticks that draw liquid fragrance upward and release scent into the surrounding air. A liquid wick jar diffuser uses a wick system within its lid assembly. The main differences are their appearance and how they disperse fragrance. Neither format is intended to be lit.

3. How do I choose a fragrance?

Start with the notes you already enjoy. For a fresh, green direction, explore Sea Salt & Sage or Bamboo & Green Tea. For floral notes, consider Cotton & Iris or Sandalwood & Iris. If you prefer a warmer or brighter character, try Amber & Vanilla or Citrus & Neroli. Read each product’s description before choosing.

4. Where should I place a home diffuser?

Choose a stable, level surface where the diffuser can remain upright. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat sources, children, and pets. Use a protective tray and avoid placing fragrance liquid directly against painted, polished, plastic, or fabric surfaces.

5. Where should I hang a car fragrance bottle?

Use a secure position that allows the bottle to stay upright without obstructing visibility, controls, seat belts, or airbags. Avoid locations where it can swing into passengers or touch interior surfaces. Follow the placement instructions supplied with your product.

6. How do I set up a reed diffuser?

Place the bottle on a protected, level surface, then follow the supplied instructions for removing the transit closure and inserting the reeds. Allow time for the reeds to absorb the liquid. Handle saturated reeds carefully and wipe up any drips immediately.

7. How do I use a liquid wick jar diffuser?

Keep the jar upright and follow its instructions for removing any transit seal and preparing the wick assembly. Leave the lid and wick components in their intended positions during use. Do not light the wick, heat the jar, or add water.

8. How strong will the fragrance be?

Scent intensity depends on the fragrance, diffuser format, room size, airflow, and temperature. The same diffuser may smell more noticeable in a small room than in a large, open space. Choose your placement with these conditions in mind.

9. How long will my fragrance last?

Fragrance life varies with the amount of liquid, the diffuser design, and the conditions where it is used. Heat and airflow can increase evaporation. Check the individual product page for any product-specific guidance rather than relying on one duration for every format.

10. Can I refill my diffuser?

Check the product description to see whether your item includes a refill or is designed to be refilled. Use only a refill confirmed as compatible with that product. Do not mix fragrances or add water, perfume, or other household liquids.

11. Are the jar diffusers candles?

No. They contain liquid fragrance and use a wick diffusion system rather than candle wax. The wick must never be lit. Do not place the jar on a candle warmer or another heating device.

12. What comes with my order?

The included items are listed on each product page. Depending on the format, these may include a hanging bottle and refill, a diffuser bottle with reeds, or a liquid jar with its wick lid assembly. Furniture, flowers, trays, and other styling accessories shown in lifestyle images are not included unless expressly listed.

13. Can I choose another scent or bottle color?

Each current product listing represents one specific combination of bottle style, fragrance, and finish. Check the product title, photographs, and specifications to confirm the combination before adding it to your cart.

14. Can I use these fragrances around children or pets?

Keep all fragrance liquids and diffuser components out of reach of children and pets. Do not assume a fragrance is suitable for every household or animal species. Read the product label and ingredient information before use; if suitability is uncertain, seek guidance from a qualified professional.
